Ferry Service
In the Spring of 2025, the Eastern PEI Chamber of Commerce commissioned an economic and transportation infrastructure impact study of the Wood Islands Ferry Service. David Campbell of Jupia Consultants Inc. was engaged to conduct the study. The study consisted of public surveys, interviews with interested parties, and project research.

Immigration
In June 2024, the Eastern PEI Chamber of Commerce was pleased to make a presentation to the Standing Committee on Education and Economic Growth of the Legislative Assembly of PEI regarding the changes made to the immigration system regarding nominations for permanent Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).
On May 21st, 2024, EPEICC released a statement about immigration changes, urging a balanced approach that would consider the impact to immigrants and businesses in the region.
